Alfa Romeo T33

Postby BARC 1 » Thu Aug 16, 2018 11:21 am

A while back I had purchased a Slot-It Alfa T33 Body kit.( great value by the way). I set about building a chassis for this kit. For something different I thought I would try a wire chassis. Kept it simple with an angle winder set up using a FF50 motor. The chassis and the Body have room for a 130 type motor, but on my home plastic track the smaller motors result in a nice handling car.

Painted the car to represent simpler times and less clutter.

Very creative and well done. That would make a good teammate to my #32 Slot-It Alfa.

Looks like there's another server out there that only registers "image" on HRW as far as my computer is concerned.

I'd say that is a minimal chassis.

Nice Alfa there, Dan.

I like the tapered chassis approach. Would be interesting to see how it would handle the torque from an FC-130 motor.

I have a plan!

Will try to layout a new chassis tomorrow. Will use an FC130. I have been drawing out ideas for the last couple of days and I think I have something for a sidewinder application.
