Slothead, I had ho size slot cars when I was younger, they were AFX, and in the town where I grew up in they had a store that was a slot car place, wooden track and I think is was a four lane track. I had fun going to the place when I was younger, they would let kids stand in the pits and re-track the cars.

Fathead, our local hobby shop track (London Ontario) was an 8 laner, an original design, and there were "holes" for kid-sized folks to sit and work the marshalling. After 3 hours of marshalling, we got free 45 minute shifts, so there were always paying customers on the track when we were running for free.

By the way, the 'Cuda is a Plymouth, not a Dodge.

I guess back then they were not many kids doing slot cars , but I did like seeing the old ones they had run around the track. I hope to have my now track that will run digital and wirelessly, table will be about 6' X 8' with Scaletrix track from Professor Motor

At least that is my plan. When I first started looking through some of the web sites, I saw someone track, he lowered it from his garage ceiling with a truck winch. I have a couple of ideas on building a track, would do a routed wood 3 lane, but that is a little bigger of a task I want to do a this time.

But with seeing that you can have tracks that can run wirelessly I am looking at doing that on a 6' x 8' table, that can be broken down and moved.

Hey Harry, if and when you get a chance I am looking on buying a few of the bodies you are making, would be about 5 or 6 different bodies, I saw a list of thew ones that Dave had sent you. Looking at Cuda, also 70 Duster, 66 Nova, 70 Monte Carlo, 73 Malibu. Just need the payment info and how much per car . Thanks .
