I think you have to let the manufacturers make what they want. They all have market info that helps to guide them. If your particular favorite car doesn't come up - then it doesn't.

Harry's right, tooling for production runs is expensive and you can bet that each manufacturer spends a good amount of time deciding just what that next car will be. It's a combination of what they think the market wants, what they want/like themselves and what they think will make them a reasonable profit. That pretty much covers most of the businesses that I know of; product or service.

I feel the sweet spot is for Pioneer to continue to make the molds they have and make molds that are unique to their own brand. That is where they can get the most from what they have and what they could make.

I feel that they should do a few more of the cars the big three that were on the fringes , there are a few more styles of Charger out there , then just the one that Pioneer has made , there are a few different styles of Camaro after the three that they have, so there are a lot more cars that they can choose from . Hopefully they just might make a few new ones in the near future

My thought on Pioneer and the vintage Trans Am cars would be the possible release of the first generation Javelin. To me this is the body style that made the Pensky brand on that particular car. The Scaley second Gen car is OK with the inline motor but I would really like to see the original. Now with RM Resins out of business that source of the body is no longer available.

Earlier on this thread you had made the following statement in response to my request for white kits:

"Your wish will come true in September when all remaining in-stock 'T/A' parts will be packaged up and available as either 'white kits' or 'grey kits'. First out will be the Notchback Mustang followed by the Camaro.

I'll post on HRW when they are ready to purchase. Attractive pricing? With a RTR chassis in the kit and some pre-decorated parts included, these kits should be in the $37.00 price range."

We are finally starting to see some of these kits, and so far the best U.S. pricing I can find is about a third higher than this - from $49-$50, which is a price you can find some regular Pioneer cars if you look around. That price range sort of eliminates the purpose of us buying superfluous Pioneer Mustang/Camaros to optionally round out our fields. Will we still see the $37 price start you originally estimated, and if so, when and where?

BTW - I would still like to see your fastback Mustangs as a $37 white/grey kit to buy up in bulk, or even just your old fantasy liveries re-released at that price if that is easier to accomplish.

I recently bought a number of the #22 blue Mustangs for $38 at Pendles ($46 including overseas shipping), and have bought them at comparable prices in recent years over here, if I am not picky and wait for the right time (I've bought them for as little as $32 in the past). I've bought at least 64 Pioneer Trans Am cars so far!
