Fun day of racing at Z-carfan's Galena Motor Speedway!

After the Vintage 1/24 TransAm Proxy action - APalmer, Slot Therapist, Z-carfan and I jumped into some 1/32 scale fun on the Galena Motor Speedway!





First class to hit the track was an IROC format using a pair of the new Scalextric Monte Carlos! The cars had been treated to a glue and true on the factory tires and the magnets pulled - but other than that - they were stock, with no weight added and made for some FUN racing action!














The next class to run were the Scalectric Racing Rigs which we also ran as an IROC format - but added the twist of "Fuel Racing" for this and the subsequent classes!














After the rigs the final IROC format race was run in the dark with a pair of GT40s!












Returning from the IROC action, it was on to Carrera DTM cars!






















Final class of the day was the Carrera GT class!



















Definitely made for a fun afternoon!
