Thanks bigman ' its 20 x 5.6 I believe. Wanted to go 6ft wide but just to cramp with the trains also. But its fun to have both. We had our first racing Friday night but I was so busy being race controller I did not get any pics. But we had our grandkids over 14' 11' 6' 5 years old. The 11 year old can race with anyone. He had a 4.010 lap. Which is quite good. He never wrecks. Really good racing. I will post some pics of the track though and my work area. I made a tire sander you can see on the bench. Works quite good.

Those controller holders look like model railroad throttle holders. I took my DS controller and put it in my throttle holder. Brilliant! Much better than my broom holder since they don’t grab or snag on my clothing if I get too close.

Yes those are Train throttle holders from Micro Tools. They work great. Cheap also. Thanks

Great looking pit area! Definitely makes for a nice scenery addition to the layout!

Being a "train guy" can see your experience there showing up on the race track!!
