Anyway the surprise was the Ferrari kit. It's not something that I would normally consider, but I'm glad he sent it.
The kit is put together using normal model kit glue and has lots of fine detail, it went together really nicely and was great fun.
Paint is straight Red with Decals from the spares draw, it does come with a set but I wanted it to be a little different.

It has the tiniest little magnets that really don't do a lot, but that's ok because I don't really want a lot of Mag if any, but there is plenty of pockets to put more mag in if you want. Has an inline pod with adjustable tension on 3 spring type setups. Tyres are quite grippy but could probably do with some PG's.

So how does it run?
Quite good straight out of the box, although on the Sport track the pod needed to be on it's, hardest pod setting, the motor is a monster and would be awesome on a bigger track, it was quite a handful on my little setup, but challenging and great fun.
