I got the timing hardware and software.. as well as the dead strip cable with the bi-directional option.
Everything was easy to unserstand and install.. the relay for power control worked first time without
a hitch even though I am using 3 red buttons (one on each drivers station)
Daniel has made some improvements to the setup since the last time I used his stuff (about 6 years ago)
THe resistors for the dead strips are built in, the directional switches are built in.. a delay after the first red
button is pushed is in place so if 2 people press them at once they don't cancel each other out..
So now timing is in place.. I had to test it out right? Pretty pleased with the results..
I ran a Scalextric '70 Camaro that has been tuned with CBD wheels, PG tires, slot.it axles and gear.. and the
chassis has been trimmed front and rear and freed up for some body float.. its a smooth running car.
I ran each lane off the timer for about 5 minutes and then ran each lane again till I felt like I nailed a fast lap..
Pretty darn even thanks to the infield turn I extended for the white and blue lanes..

I mounted this part up on the back wall of a workbench so I'm not crawling around to flip the bi-directional switches..

Laying grass and what not is going slowly now as every time I'm down there I want to see if I can improve past times LOL~
