Scalextric F1 parts

I have a Scalextric 2012 Mercedes Petronas F1 car; # C3263. I'd like to get some extra front wings/rear wings for this car, since, in my experience, they tend to be fragile elements when racing at mag car speeds.

I looked at my usual online parts store and I couldn't find them.

I could find the front wing/rear wing replacements for the 2011 Mercedes Petronas F1 car; #3267/68.

Does anyone know if Scalextric makes the front wing/rear wing replacement part for the 2012 car? If so, where can I get them. I think I need, based on my current driving skills, 2-3 of them..... :roll:

It may be easier for me to just invest in a big, soft catcher's mit............................... ;)

Not sure. That would be nice and a quick fix to the problem.

Does anyone know if the front wing/rear wing units on the Scalextric 2011 (C3168) and 2012 (C3263) Mercedes Petronas F1 cars are the same?

PS Except for the "EuPOSTBRIEF" on the rear wing, they sure do look to be the same. Certainly close enough for racing, which is what this car is for................
