Thompson are you printing white? If so, how? White inkjet ink (tends to be a bit lacklustre) or sublimation?

Spraying a solvent based clear over decals is risky business. With some clear coats you may usually get away with it, but just lay the stuff on a little heavier than usual and your decals will be cooked. A few coats of decal bonder or Future are good insurance in my opinion.

Yes I print on white Bell paper and lackluster is a good word. Fortunately, the first subject was the bright orange tangerine (almost Tangeirs orange) T.Adamowicz Porsche 911 build, so any bleed through was minimized. I might double up next time on the bigger number roundels as the smaller size decals aren't so apparent. Also printed Bibbsters Dr Pepper P60 decals for him and this was light pistachio color.

The Futrure floor polish came out very nice on my Scaley GT Lightning car !!!
Your tips are much appreciated.
Now onto how to make homemade decals !!!
