Scoot,
I've seen red road cars and Jaegermeister liveried Fly Racing F40s. They're out there.

I have four body transplant projects going on that are at varying stages but are getting pretty close to being runners with the bodies mounted. The first two are SCX COY Nascar chassis are going under a Carrera 70 Cuda body and a Snaptite 1st gen Camaro body. I did away with the old spring load SCX guide system by JB Welding guide mounts from some older style Carrera chassis. These cars will be Saturday night roundy rounders to run on my Little D oval. The other cars are more of the sports car variety. I bought two cases of SCX Pro Porsches off Ebay from Bryan Young not long ago. One of those chassis received a common SCX Porsche body with Red Bull livery and the other chassis is getting a ZR1 Corvette body from a Lindberg kit. The common SCX Porsche and the Pro version do not share the same mounting locations so new mounts had to be added to the body, fore and aft, to make the chassis and body mount together. Both will get 42B motors to be more compatible with my Albion Bay road track.

Mmmmmm.... Got myself a set of those Porsches from eBay. Trying to decide what to do with them. I've also got a dozen or so Ninco1s I bought for hire cars on the commercial track which I was trying to get off the ground. Don't need them any more. Trying to decide what to do with them.
