This pic shows Couger with headlights

Postby BRP32 » Fri Oct 03, 2014 7:52 pm

Someone posted pics of the new scaley T/A Couger with hidden headlights but the latest pic I seen is this with the lights showing.

I'd rather have the hidden headlight look.

Geez, all you have to do is turn the light switch off. :)

Would not surprise me. The other photo is from the "offiical" Scalextric newsletter.

I always saw them with the headlights covered. Of course, I always saw them in the daylight. After dark, they were just another car with headlights, ya know?

The bottom image is computer generated while the top image is a photograph. I really doubt that Scalextric provides two front grilles or headlights that close.

Will be interesting to see which way it comes - the top picture definitely appears to be a "photo" verse computer generated. Something to consider - if you look at the Scalextric Chargers, they have run two different grill versions on those!
The black / hot rod red / Dukes and white kit ones come with hidden head lights - the green and Bobby Allison version have exposed headlights, with the green car's lights actually being functional to boot!
Just some food for thought! :D
