The best gift this year was introducing grandkids, ages, 6, 9, and 11, to slot car racing. The time between seeing the Carrera-on-the-hardwood waiting for them on arrival to enthusiastic uproar was well under 60 seconds.



Two indestructible "Go" cars, Hubert Platt's relettered Carrera Mustang, my "24 hour Galaxie" with lengthened chassis from Brumos RSR and resin '63 from Harry himself, and Drogo Ferrari built from Pendle Slot OCAR body and PCS chassis. I am proud to say I have created a whole new analog pursuit to balance their tablets and phones....!

It was a Carrera Corvette C6R D124 for me, bought at my LHS.

A gift to myself. Will be transformed to a H&R chassis for racing in the GTP field at Bullitt. Hope to have it ready to go for Saturdays night race.

I was going to pass up anything this year, then the boys at SCC whipped out a sale and I bought 4 I have been stalling about.

Well my Carrera Ferrari got on the podium for me last night at Bullitt Speedway. 3/4 of the race was in the dark. Was 2 laps down to 1st place and 1 lap down to second. Total for me was 100 laps. Had a little trouble in the red lane on the Blue King dead man corner until I applied full braking. No more offs after the first 4 laps.
