This is a re-release of a great little car. I have a few of these in different liveries, and if they offer some they haven't done before I might get them.

Hi Mark,

That SCX is one of my favorite small cars. They did a much better modeling job than Reprotec did.



Still trying to get the SCX to keep up with this modded Reprotec on wood.

I think the 2nd one will be the cute red on that you can still pickup from most slot shops.... absolutely gorgeous.

I only wish I'd seen these a few years back - rather difficult to get your hands on the Gulf and Texaco one these days....

That last little red one is still available in Perth. I'm more than a little tempted to get one of them myself.

I've threatening to do a Lee-style Gulf paint job on one of the Reprotecs for a while now. I got a flock of them on a clearance sale a few years back for that purpose.

I repainted a Reprotec 1000 Abarth some years ago. It's has a wider track than their 600 and drives a bit better




The inspiration was this Fiat CR42 WW2 fighter in Swedish Air Force livery:

I've got the painting bug at the moment. I'd love to do a couple of repaints of these. Might have to look into the Repotec repro shells some time in the future.

Couldn't resist buying this SCX body-only years ago on that famous auction site. I think it was a Spain-only release.
