Green GT coming

So... all official announcements are made during Toy Fair in Germany about what's coming for 2014... but... I did get this piece of news which some might find very welcome. We will be bringing in the 30667 Green GT this year. It will come about May-ish. Photos of the sample I have. I got the car last year and took it to the club track (which is wood) and it ran quite well. The tires are nice and sticky and despite the VERY large tail the car had nice track-manners ;)

I'll have one, too. The real car confuses me, though. Why is it called the Green GT when it is clearly an LMP design, not GT at all. The news about the car never seems to mention that. Did the rules for the LeMans classes change yet again? They already messed up the GT rules because they couldn't handicap (adding weight), the Corvettes enough to satisfy them.

Ok so I just got approval for this today which is why I was able to announce this today and at the same time sent info out to the larger dealers and our sales force. And in the past "the cool stuff" as you put it would not be here but in most cases it's limited interest cars and most of the time BECAUSE it was not here i think the interest was raised in it. We work hard to get all the products here that we think will be good sellers and most of the time we do include many items (Capris, Opels, DTMs) that weren't initially included in the US catalog here and available for sale.
So if you checked with a dealer before this morning yes that would have been the case jeremy because I've been working to 1. get the car added to our line and 2. get the assurance in our system that it's for sure coming. ;)

This year... there will be nothing available in Europe that won't be coming here to the best of my knowledge at this point.
