1:32 Resin Pit/News/Corner worker figures

Well, I for one am disappointed...


There's no Dum-Dum figurine... :lol:

I got most of them done, except for 4 civilian camera guys and 4 flagmen. I still have to make their flags.

The corner worker bases look bad because I don't use them since they stand in grass and will get cut off.







How's it all look on the track? You decide, but that's as busy as I think I can make my pits look!





I'll put pricing info and pictures up in a new thread after the holiday.

WOW them look great, you are a out standing artist. There is no way I could ever paint like that.

Just a suggestion,when painting the eyes paint the white first then with a fine brush make a vertical line with the dark eye color.After that has dried add flesh color to the top and bottom until you get the desired effect.People outside tend to squint.Try this and I think you'll avoid the Marty Feldman pop-up eyed look !!!

Thanks for the link to the figure painting tutorial. The wash that he used seems a little heavy-handed, and I think that your washes look more realistic to my eye -- at least in the photos. The figure in the tutorial seems to have more "texture" (deeper recesses ) than the typical Monogram slot car folks, too, which probably has an effect on how the diluted wash collects.

OK, yet another project added to the constantly expanding to-do list . . .
