I got 1:1 car stuff. Im building a 2002 z28 camaro for street and strip. Sold my bike. My boys want to go back to the track. After their sister was born i sold my last car. Time to get back into it.

Nothing slot car related. I got stuff for my other hobby, backpacking. My daughter and son in law gave me a USB power storage pack that is kind of a swiss army knife. It has a lamp built in and has a solar panel to help keep it charged. I also got a spiffy, super light, super insulated backpacking jacket that will stuff down small enough to fit into its own pocket.

I got the new SCC tire gadget; the one that's going to keep my fingers from getting black on the tips when gluing up tires..... I was definitely ready for that!

I received a lot of fulfillment. I had the week off, so I was able to finish painting the "scenery" on my track and I was able to use it all week. When the nephews and nieces were over, they ran the track a lot too.



I got about $50 from friends, so I think I'll build one of these arduino based track call buttons for the Yingling timing software.

The only possible slot car related item I got was a gift card for Tammie's Hobbies to go towards items for the new routed track we are going to start soon.
However I did get to watch two six year olds battle it out on the old track set at 4.9 volts, that's the point where they're almost about to de-slot. The squeals of delight were wonderful. The competition was fierce especially after we found two cars that were closely matched for speed.

I got a Microlux cross cut saw to help out my adventures in building brass,and a couple of die cast Porsches to be used as masters for molding purposes.

Well we had 20 for supper, played some cards, adult daughter got a PS VR headset. W0W, can you say holodeck

Track got used by four nieces and nephews. As you would expect it was a novice digital crash fest.

A great time was had by all as we said goodnight to the last guest at 2:00
Two year old GrandDaughter was left here for a sleepover as is my 96 year old Mother, meaning 4 generations of the clan sleeping under one roof!

I feel very blessed, and in all sincerity, I am not sure life could deliver a better day.

I didn't get any slot related stuff either. $50 I got will be going towards stuff to begin scratch building. But I did get a second dartboard, Christmas Reeses and a few Hot-wheels because I love Corvettes. Time with family was the best gift.

It has two nice Ford Stock Cars and a bunch of nice track.

I got the Carrera JW Automotive Gulf Porsche 917K from across the pond. Irritating that they can't find a way to sell it in the USA, but . . . what are you gonna do? Always a sucker for that Gulf livery.
