Hello GRUNZ, I used machine screws with Nyloc nuts to secure the pod to the chassis. Urethane washers were used both below and on top of the pod lugs to minimize vibrations and, more importantly, to allow the pod to flex torsionally, not flop. The bottom edges of the pod lugs had to be trimmed (by the thickness of the urethane washers) so that the pod still was flat with the chassis plate. The screws are adjusted to eliminate any fore/aft, side to side movement. The car has been set up for wood tracks only, and this pod set-up has proven to work very well.

thanks for the reply. I am a visual guy: any pics of the bottom of the chassis? I am curious to see how large the heads of the screws are.
I would like to see those urethane washer: if you have any pics would be great. Otherwise a link to SCC?
