I want my slot cars to be the best I can make them, realistic, detailed, and reasonably fast. What my car will never be is a blob of unrecognizable bubble that doesn't resemble a car here or on Mars, and so fast I can't see it on the track. Nope. That insanity wrecked the slot car hobby once upon a time. Not for me. That's why I am home here at Home Racing World.

I like my cars to look real to an extent. I like when it's not at first obvious that it is a slot car. Otherwise I'm totally happy to look at them for what they are, and to appreciate the really nice ones as well as the cars only a mother could love.

Wow, Wobble! A '56 Chevy in 1950s colors, nicely detailed, livery from Kiekhaefer Outboards, recently renamed Mercury Outboards and Marine, and longtime owner and sponsor of classic NASCAR Beach Racers. Backer of drivers Buck Baker, Bob Flock, Fonty Flock, Tim Flock, Speedy Thompson, and Herb Thomas. And a sidewinder chassis to make it run. Nice job, Wobble! No wonder its your favorite.
