Aloha I didn't get my viper yet but if it seems noisy I might look into the bearing swap ,I'm a retired machinist still have all my tools. Bridgeport mill, lathe and more thanks for the tips .

At the Area 51 12 hour endurance race we also did a shorter race for RevoSlot Marcos cars with the main change being Quick Slicks. We had a good time with those cars so one of the guys bought four RevoSlot Porsches to use as IROC cars. We have raced the Porsches several times. The last race was last night. We had run our Sports Car class earlier, those mostly use a Slot.it HRS or HRS2 chassis with a locked down sidewinder motor pod. The motors must be a Scalextric 18K type motors and the bodies are production sports car types. The RevoSlot cars did the same lap times as the Sports Cars with the RevoSlots having more power, but not being as smooth to drive. Since they are being used as IROC cars the RevoSlots have not been carefully tuned.

From what I read the noise was traced to out of round pinions on some of the earlier cars. Anyway, I like them and I've two of the Porsches, a Gulf Viper and ordered a Denso Supra. The Marcos is too weird looking for me.
