Being a relative newbie to 1/32 did anyone ever make the Ferrari 712 can am , I think Mario ran it at the Glen in '71?

A couple of people did the open 312...MMK/TKP were one and an older resin producer called Lesco.

Then there is the Betta and Classic version from the UK.

Thanks Munter. Well, considering how expensive the MMK versions are, I'm pretty sure I ordered mine from the guy in France who used to sell bodies on ebay. I can't remember his user name but I haven't seen anything from him in a loooong time.

The MMK's are quite spendy but they have some really cool stuff. Over my pay grade though.

Hi All,

I know Tassie Resins does a Ferrari 312P spyder as well as the Shadow DN4
regarding the Ferrari 712, I'll have it out ready for 3D printing in the next two weeks.

Regarding the Ferrari 712, I completely forgot about the VERY rare version that was produced by Top Slot. If you find one it will be pretty expensive. It was an awesomely detailed resin kit. I even owned one about 8 or 9 years ago. I should have never sold that one. I haven't seen one for sale in a very, very long time.

Nimrod, please let me know when yours is done!

So, what should I build next? A Ford Honker or a nice little Lola T160?

QC, next? I vote Lola, lots of variations to choose from - then the Ford.

Nimrod, I would also be interested in the 712, as a body I hope, I don't have a 3d printer - yet.

Tough choice, I like the "pureness" of the red and white #1 but the Super M looks pretty mean.


I built many models when I was a kid, need to get back to the building aspect I guess.
