Memo to self: Never piss of Mr. Bennett...he just ain't right ;)

I think Carrera does a great job keeping things secret. I have been trying out my Enigma Machine on their website to no avail...

I vote for a LESS complicated chassis please.

Gents...if you've missed the point, Mike was being a wise-guy...with a point. No harm, no foul. We all love Carrera and think Dave K. hung the moon. Or mooned Harry...I forget which...

As always, you are right Master Dave. Thanks for being my much-needed PR Director ("what he really meant to say was...). I just like to have fun on the board, and if you read my posts carefully, you will see that I love the hobby, and the people in it, and people I love, I love to playfully rib, in my own offbeat and absurdist way. I assume there are other people like that out there, aren't there? I seem to read other people making similar comments, and take them in the spirit in which they are made.

I just had a wonderful LONG conversation with Mr. Kennedy. It was very enlightening, and probably long overdue on my part to make his acquaintance. I wonder if I own more actual Carrera cars than the whole board combined (it might not be too much of an exaggeration - ask Dave R. about my collection of stockers alone), and I have a ridiculous investment in the valuable Carrera track - from multiple six lane high bank tracks, road courses, trackside figures (and even crossover sections!) - the point being my actions speak louder than words in my support for the company. Dave K. educated me on many facets of how they run their business. The sad thing is that the realities of the marketplace may not be good news for this old fogey and his oddball love of single-livery old cars, but I'm confident they'll be plenty of Carrera models I'll want to buy in the years ahead - I've already made a significant investment in them that I intend to perpetuate. Dave is a class act, and I'm glad he's in "our corner"!

In the meantime, Mr. Reinecke, get that Enigma machine working!
