Reviving NINCO F1

I think I have a complete Ninco F1 set w/box stored up in the attic with perhaps 1-2 hours use on it (if that). Might even have some extra track I purchased but never used. Anyone interested in purchasing it? Haven't a clue how much or how to ship that monster, though.

They do not come with the NC-5 - they are kitted out with the NC-14.

Billy, the prices listed at Pendle & TopSlots'n'Trains (equivalent to US$45) are in the UK - not exactly a steal but with a retail price of over US$60 in the USA, it raises questions regarding Ninco's pricing strategy in the global market.

Mark, thanks for confirmation on the motor, do you already have any of these 'new 'F1s? I'm tempted by the blue "Williams" and black "Lotus" versions, it looks as if they are from the Jordan moulds?

Just to muddy waters further, Thunderbird Raceway's newsletter received this morning refers to these as powered by an NC10 motor.

Is there a slight chance we can get the car flipped over? Not that it matters to me personally as I will do a motor swap, but would be nice to know for other's sake.

The price is still on the high side even with the "reduction". Yet....looking at this latest Slotwings/Flyslot fiasco that costs more, there is value here for those who want a nice running F1 model. No scale awards to be given, but fun to be had.

The NC14 is the replacement for the NC5 just as the NC5 replaced the NC2.

Yeah. I kind of figured. Just thought it funny. Given up checking on T'bird's website for shopping these Days. Chris doesn't keep it up to date. So, it's Armchair or o/s I'm afraid.
