Hope you all have a better week ahead !Going down to Boston to pick up a small collection of vintage slot cars and track being offered for super cheap price! I will post pictures. Nothing really crazy, but cool stuff none the less. Then going to look at a 1965 Dodge Dart convertible restoration project. I never seen my wife so interested in a old car. Must be convertible fever.

Well its Canada Day weekend up here so lots of festivities and fireworks even though Its actually Tuesday. But alas, I messed up some wiring on the truck, spent 8hrs Wednesday working on it, no joy.
Had it towed to the dealership, they fou d after another 8 hrs it needs new wiring from the back to the front. The new wiring is about $700.00, and so far 8hrs labour to isolate the fried wires, $80.00 an hour
Cant get it done until next Wednesday due to the long weekend, , and I wonder how many hours to install it.
2 things came out of this
1 I wont touch wiring again
2 I dont think there will be any new slot cars in July.
Yep glad this week is over, and I didnt have it near as bad as some of you did.

I thought I had it bad listening to some of you. Hope things smooth out for everyone on HRW!

Sarge - "Staging" is a waste. Proven time and again, and I've personally sold 6 homes with my pictures on the wall...something else they tell you to take down to "sanitize" the house and let people imagine their stuff in it. Whatever...I sold my last house in April with the track taking up the entire basement. Not a problem. Still a PITA though to move.

Big audit coming up is running my work life at the moment, but it is do-able. Nobody screaming at me, so I love the place.

Hope to get a new project into the second stage of silicone and route a new section of the track so I can work on painting it and re-taping it soon.
