Here's a suggestion for the future, to avoid or at least minimize stripping out a post. The problem starts when the screw is first inserted into the body post. The threads will cut the plastic and remove some of the material in the hole of the post. Every time you remove the screw and reinsert it, if you don't get the screw to go in exactly the same way, you remove more of the plastic material of the post because you're cross-threading the parts. What I do is use a bit of beeswax on the threads of the screw, and I start the screw insertion by reversing the direction of the driver until I feel the threads of the screw engage the cut threads inside the post. (That's the way you're supposed to screw-in a watch crown, by the way.) The beeswax holds the screw in place and also lubricates the threading interface, reducing wear.

I do the same installation method with my screws - but never thought about putting bee's wax on them!
I'll have to give that a go - thanks for the tip! :D
