Took an extra day off during the Memorial Day Weekend and was on a weekend holiday with the family. Went back to work on the Wednesday after the holidays and received a message from the office girls that some "toys" have arrived.
Finally received my Pioneer Assassin's Black Charger, an "Ace of Spades" Pioneer Charger, the white (#30?) Pioneer Mustang Notchback and the #8 MRRC Porsche 910. During the wait, I found a rather lesser expensive NIB NSR Corvette Blue test car which I am now currently waiting for.......
Does this sickness ever subside...?????....lol

Wow that Tampo printing on the Pepsi Falcon is pretty crisp considering how many details there are.
It's a bloody trick looking thing. I wish they'd start chucking some windows and Interiors in them.

Your not wrong about the tampo printing which is excellent on the body



Except for the windows, the black tampo on black windows looks terrible (it would have been superb if we had interior and proper windows).



Oh well, we keep banging on about it and year after year nothing changes......

Ted, careful what you wish for. With the efforts in the latest Trans-Am cars and models like the Camaro GT, you are better off with this IMHO.

Judging by the grain texture and outlines on the car, those are not tampo stamps, they are decals. The 1/32 versions of "wraps". Carrera has used this approach and for the most part it works well enough.

Still a nice looking car, and they are fun to drive and drive hard.

I got my $20 white cougar from that Chicago hobbies sale. Have not tuned it yet other than tires being trued. Fun car that I have no idea what I'm going to do with yet. :)

I just bought this NSR Porsche 917 to run in the Shoreline Model Raceways Le Mans class. It will need some changes to make it suitable for non-magnet racing.

Latest car is a Scaleauto Radical. Lots of torque in that long can motor!

I've heard that the decals are not protected with a clear coat on these cars. Should I hit it with some clear as a protective barrier? This car will be raced.

Retro Racer, I completely agree especially in non magnet racing. About the only Scaley car I race in Non Magnet racing is the 70 Camaro TransAm because that is what we are limited to. One club will not even allow the replacement of the fairly fragile rear plastic rim. I am very aware of the way they can split at the worst times, however, that is another story in itself.

Most of my purchases now are Slot It, NSR and Racer Sideways. I might even break down for a Racer Resin.
