It's been a few years since I've purchased a slot car but I was really happy to pickup this Fleischmann Alfa Romeo tipo 33 Periscopica at the Detroit swap meet yesterday, a car that has been on my want list for a while. I was manning my tables at the meet and hadn't looked at what the other vendors had available until late in the show. I walked over to the table next to me & there this car sat with the asking price of only $25. Super happy to have grabbed this up!

Got my Whelen Vette yesterday and sadly the "help" in China really torqued down on the hold down screw and ended up warping the chassis. The right front tire is about 1 mm up in the air. The chassis is in the oven cooling down. I had to place some plastic under the chassis to clear the magnet pocket and make it all flat. We'll see tomorrow if I made any head way.

Following up, the boil & bake water fix worked on the chassis. No different than a Slot it chassis.
