I am happy to see that R/M's molds will not go dormant. With very few exceptions, they're bodies were superb and the focus of their modeling had wide appeal for those of us who prefer classics. They had a coupe of design boo boos, like the sidewinder spur gears that were nearly equal to the tire diameter but this was easily correctible. The biggest error was in assembly at the factory where seemingly 60% of the wheels were pushed onto the axle crooked. Hopefully with a new chinese factory doing the assembly work and a little more supervision from the owner of the product, this can be corrected. Kudo's to Professor Motor for keeping these cars alive.

Mike, I've heard that about the cockeyed wheels from folks, but my experience with Revell in 54 cars is the opposite. Not one in 54 had that problem. Odd, huh? Anyway, I thought I'd make sure the other side of this one was spoken for. You may have been extraordinarily unlucky, but others have had crooked wheels from them, too, so you aren't alone.

Has anyone heard anything recent on the Prof Motor R/M cars? (specifically the Nascars)

It seems that after this initial announcement, nothing new has been said. There's nothing on their site about the status of the cars either. Hopefully this project is not on the scrap-heap.
