Congrats to Team Vancouver Perry, Alwyn (SuperSlab), Chris (F1Fan) winning the 1st Annual Tourist Trophy! Wow what a great weekend joining several slot car communities Edmonton, Calgary, Kelowna, and Vancouver together.

There will be a few postings of Saturday's results and race pictures but here are a few pictures of Friday's practice I did not have time to post. Teams were frantically tuning and practicing on the track before the Tourist Trophy race as well as meeting and greeting one another. Many new friendships were created!

Congrats to The Vancouver Slot Car Club. It was a great event and I am proud to have made a bunch of new friends. We now hand the torch off To Edmonton for the 2019 event.

A great event all around. Best part of it was reconnecting and meeting new folks - whichever was really the event’s purpose, so mission accomplished! Not sure I could have envisioned things going any more smoothly! Well, except for our car...next year, we ditch the intermediate tires in favor of super soft slicks!

As exhausted as I am after a busy race weekend and travelling back home, I am already looking forward to 2019. (Big sigh) now to start the 2019 planning :think:
