Someone on E-Bay makes resin bodies that are just OK, Yes I said it.

$10 plus shipping great price, windows so thick you can't cut them out safely.
Bodies not filled in which can be easily fixed.

He should come on and give us a how to cut them out.

I admit to purchasing a few $10 resin bodies on "the bay". I didn't expect much, & that's what I got.
I only wanted a few of them because nobody had those particular models available & I was just going to chop them
up for modifieds. I hate to cut up some of these outstanding products put out by the real professionals on here.
Wound up with more resin on the floor than on the finished product. Better have a good Dremel
with lots of attachments if you buy one.
........... One of them wound up as my "Summer Shootout" entry this year. .......................

Usually "Gorilla" brand super glue, maybe some 5 minute epoxy smeared around behind the joints,
& plenty of styrene for firewalls, spoilers & stuff. Coat liberally with "Bondo" brand
auto body glazing putty found at Auto Zone, then a good heavy coat or 3 of filler primer.
........Sand to suit. :D :D :D

Has anyone re-read this one from the beginning? I like how this has developed. Its why we do this thing, and its why HRW exists.

Glad I found the site , I like having more of the same minded people to talk about it. When I was a little kid there was a slot car place that had a wooden three or four lane wooden track, with banked curves. would pay kids to result the cars , wasn't much, but it was fun to watch.

That should have been " re-slot the cars " , they had us standing in pits where the cars would de-slot
