I think all cars are always more expensive as a new release. The other liveries are getting downright cheap. This one has been out a few months now and the prices are coming down as we speak so keep you eye out.

If I had to guess, I'd say that this livery will sell out quickly, especially if they only make 1020, as they have with the other 914/6's. This Sonauto car won the 2 L GT class at Le Mans in 1970 and, due to rain and the high attrition rate in the higher classes, managed to finish 6th overall, an incredible feat.

Not trusting that the usual suppliers will get enough stock, I ordered one from EBay. Maybe I'll be wrong and there'll be plenty of chances to get one.

With the flared fenders on that 914/6, I'm thinking proxy car in the under 2.0 L class (2.0L and under)................

Do all of these cars come with the fender flares, or just this GT car?

The Classic F1 cars that Scalex put out are certainly among the best models that they have ever produced, all categories included. I'm not that thrilled about F1 as such, especially since aerodynamics and then sponsors took over completely.
The "Legends" series include cars that are just in the transition period; the new Brabham has wings front & rear but it still has the relatively clean cigar shaped body and an "honest" British racing green paint job with gold and yellow trim. The detailing is stunning, except for some inevitable flaws (the helmet for instance, I guess). A jewel of a model and a welcome addition to a great series.
