You have a couple choices. For a more boxstock look try QuickSlicks CB32


Fit well, but I would glue them. Remove the wheel assembly, coat with nail polish, install the tire and roll it on a flat surface.

This is what I have on mine.



Paul Gage 19105's. These are lower profile. It allows the guide to sit in the slot better without the need for any aftermarket guide adapters.

You can use 19125, but at 12 wide you will have to trim the inside edge of the tire off (easily done) to avoid rubbing the chassis. I also advise gluing as described above.

Oh, to reduce the front grip coat either with Future floor polish. I much prefer it over nail polish. It works, but doesn't make your tires sound like marbles on the kitchen floor. After a lot of hard racing, check and re-coat if you need to.

I will add my thanks to Harry for the research he has done as my two M20s have suffered the same fate. There are several other Carrera cars that have the same problem. Those that come to mind immediately are the Ferrari 458 and the Cheetah.. Maybe Harry or someone else with ready access to a tire supply could compile a list of affected Carrera cars and an appropriate replacement aftermarket front tire.
