I think you are going to win. When the competition sees these cars they will be so taken with their beauty the drivers won't be able to concentrate on their driving.

Well, they're in Athens and have passed tech inspection, so now it's off to the races................!
Chris, I got the Maser to just under 60g; original target was 50g, but I quickly found out that items like epoxy resin, wheel inserts, glue, paint and clear can weigh quite a lot!

Is this Athens as in Greece, or a city named Athens here in the USA, like Georgia?

Well, first race in Athens is in the books now.
The Alfa TZ-2, #42 (front motor, FC-130 BWNC-1) seems to be holding its own against some of the mid-motored cars (SW and typical IL layouts), which is pretty good news.

The little Maserati (#2) took home a first in concours. Yikes! It's not fast, so far; running about mid-pack. It's hard for me to build out an FC-050 slimcan car that can compete against the larger, more powerful FC-130 S-can motored cars. We'll see how it does as the proxy rolls on, the narrow track and short wheelbase is going to be a lot to overcome...........

Both beautiful cars; but that Maserati Bread Van is great. How long is the track at this venue? How long did the stints last?
Good luck on the series.

Not sure how I missed this original posting but that is a sweet looking pair! And from the results posted - looks like they are more than holding their own on the track as well!
Congrats!
