Bob, that is great! I love those MRRC (Monogram) bodies and that chassis looks very "old school" (that's a good thing). If I can be nosy, what does one of these cost, shipped, in US Dollars from Pendle's?

It was $64.45 total cost. There are four cars available. This Ferrari, the King Cobra, Porsche 904 and the other Ferrari that I borrowed the body from initially. I think it is one of the best deals for a 1/32 car and I don't understand why no one sells them here. If I were the owner of Professor Motors I would sell all of the R/M cars that use the sebring chassis with this one instead.

I built the clubman kit also, but i built the king cobra kit. I went a different route though, and reproduced a more accurate car. modeling it after the 1964 CM-3.Very nice kits, and well worth the money in my opinion.

In France some dealers sells them at 46 €.

I strongly think buying one of these, but can't decide between the bodies....surely a Ferrari.
The '64 GTO is not the best appealing for me, and I also owe a Fly Gto that competes against an Alfa TZ..

I think i'll take a 275 to compete against my 250 LM.

Those are neat. The chassis looks a lot like the old '60's Revell. I have 2 1/24 scale Revell's and the chassis are just smaller on the 1/32 scale cars. the motors are smaller too, but they are basically the same. :)

The chassis is pretty versatile. We've been having good luck with MRRC and the associated SRP parts line. Our builder-oriented customers like the wide range of parts. You can get axles in something like 5mm increments in width, and the notor line-up (for 13D) goes up in 5k increments.

We have a guy running a Sebring chassis and running gear in our 1/32 stock car series and he likes it. MRRC and SRP are definitely under the radar brands that should get more attention.

MRRC's web site is currently down for maintenance/upgrades, but when they are back in two weeks you should check the parts selection... it's amazing.

I'm curious as to why MRRC dealers in the USA don't carry the Clubman cars and parts. I would have more of them if they were available locally.

It would be hard for me to gauge that because we have a pretty niche demographic. Very few of our customers will buy an entire car kit. We've done well over the years with running chassis, and parts, but it generally takes a long time to recoup any investment we put into full cars or kits. There are bigger places with better selections for that. Our customers do buy the parts, so we stock those. We generally have the Clubman and Sebring chassis, some different length axles, 20k and 30k SRP motors, Slimlines, etc. With each of our orders, we expand the line a bit. Having said that, getting product from their distributor is pretty easy. On two occasions, we did an unscheduled order to fulfill a customer request. MRRC has come a long way.

Nice stuff but my only groan/moan is that their axle size is slightly under 3/32". OK if I want to use their rims because I can ream them but not OK if I want to use their axles and bearings.
