Postby Gameover » Fri Mar 20, 2015 6:31 pm

Which one? The one with the larger radius R3/R4 or standard R1/R2?

The wider R3/R4 is 7.9 feet by 5.4 feet.

I would always round up and give yourself a few inches breathing room.

For the standard R1/R2 you want 4 feet wide. I would go with 4x8 at least so you could stretch it out a little. Here is my old 4 laner.

Ha the larger one. Thanks harry. I'll prolly go 6.5 wide. Still need to find 14 more straights to ad some length :).

Ya while we where on our cruise our supply line to the dishwaser got a pin sized hole. Did 17k worth of damage and flooded my slot car room. Pretty messy. But we are on the up swing. Hoping to get the slot room rebuilt by next weekend. The sheetrock is up. Now paint and table. The kitchen is in the works. Waiting on cabinets..... Good times :).

Yeah I'm going through it now as well. Ain't fun but what are you gonna do.

I was thing of picking up some artin stuff ... Harry is the lane spacing big enough to run the big cars?
With the changes going on down stairs I might be able to get an oval up & running along with the road coarse.

Thanks ... J Y D

You can, but it's really tight and some of the larger, actual 1/24 models make it tighter.

After having Carrera and with the cars you and the group run, I would keep the Carrera Ed.
