Bob, you have discovered why I have five of them. Even so, My Ferrari F40 is slightly quicker making a lap around my track.

btaylor, I got one of these a few weeks ago, and it is a GREAT car! I love it, in fact just picked up a used one in another color from a member.
BTW, you don't like the Gulf livery do you? :banana-dance:

Great looking car! Is this one an AW/Flat 6 configuration, like the other liveries (Fina, Yellow Corn)?
I put a SW pod/Piranha motor into the Fina car and sent it off to a proxy race. It's not doing well at the moment.................. Maybe I should have just left it as it was..................

The Gulf car is an Anglewinder. At least the no# 39 is, I think the #41 was inline.

You know, Bob, that car is too modern for your fleet......you can just forward it to me  I love your Gulf fleet. I don't have but a couple of Slot Its but they're great and it looks like you've got a real contender there!

All I can say is that on my very smooth mdf track I find that with this car the inline setup is easier to drive and produces consistently quicker laps. I have no scientific reasons to support this claim. You might try it and see if your results are similar. I used a 9 tooth pinion and a 27 tooth crown gear 3:1 ratio.
