Hidden Gem
Posted: Fri Jul 17, 2015 12:51 pmOk so here in MN we have a hobby shop in the cities. About hour plus from my house. Well when im in the area i swing by and buy a few things.
In this shoo the have a very small slot car section. Consists of mostly carrera go stuff. They have a big glads case that has the 4 different scales if slot cars glued to a track piece to see the different sizes. Well for the 1/32 they are using a fly porsche 917! Every time i go there i try to buy this car ad it deserves to be run! They always tell me its not for sale its for display only.....
Well i went yesterday and finally got my way! After about 30 minutes of talking the store manager knew this car needed to go home with me and felt it was the right thing to do so we settled on a price and i brought this beauty home with me to be reworked and tuned to race! Pretty excited about this..... Well enough boring ya here she is on her way home!
