Suitable body for Camaro chassis

Hello all
I acquired a Scalextric Camaro chassis in a lot of spare parts I picked up. I was hoping it would fit under my Bel Air model kit but it is a bit short.
Looking for other suitable bodies that would fit the Camaro chassis. We race the old stock cars Revell and Carrera Chargers etc so if there is something available in that era I would be keen.
cheers
David

I've had a lot of success stretching and shortening those chassis, and the Pioneer equivalent. If that's within the bounds of your rules, its a good, strong platform.

Good idea - a couple of bits of piano wire and some brass for ballast might work :)
cheers

Hi Dave
Check with Phil K, he might have resin body that may fit. Charger, Falcon or Monaro might fit.
Cheers
Alan

I make about a dozen that will fit it including most of the IMC stock cars as Rob has shown one of them. If you can mount posts, anything can be made to work.

thanks gents
I had a look at your site David
don't really know a lot about these cars - so will spend the weekend looking up '69 Cudas and Challengers and Firebirds
something to add when I grab the 510 Datto - I have to get one of them...
and I will check with Phil as well Alan - maybe an Aussie muscle car could be the go as well Monaro would be sweet (even if I grew up in a Ford family)
