magnet removal

It seems the newer Carrera cars use a strap to hold the magnet in place. The strap seems to be welded on the sides. I can pull it out with a pair of needle nose plier and remove the magnet, but just wondering if there is a better or neater way to do this? Thanks.

Never mind. Looked closer (with the readers) and saw the notch.
