Someone mentioned in the first 'Latest Slot Car Thread' that they have been getting more parts than cars. I am guilty of this as well. And they bring to light a good point: Parts can make a slot car :)

So I thought we would start a new topic where you can share your latest parts haul and give a few hints on your projects.
I think this is a good way of seeing what others are using out there and maybe it will help some of us choose the right gear.

To kick it off, here is my latest haul from SCC. I have a 3 part project in my mind, so after deciding what I needed I made the order.



With the Trans-Am, Can-Am, and my own little side projects, this should get things "rolling".

The Dum Dums are the most critical part. Must have. :)

Those lollipops should be the "official lollipop of the TV show Dragnet.Dum Da Dum Dum......

Have my parts comming from SCC Canada tomorrow.
PG tires, CB Wheels, Hollow axles, And some brass from the local HS, yes thats right Brass is what I said .
Hook Line and Sinker.
Can Am,,, Trans Am, Auto Grass, and of course my Targa entry to get the finishing touches.
Only question is ,,,, where to start ,,,,,

As usual no pics by me but I just won 18 sets of Paul Gage tires on ebay for $6.50. They will go on the various cars I have.

Also just got a 63 t-bird convertible model that is going to become the #33 Clem Proctor t-bird sitting on a Carrera Chevelle Chassis

I have a 69 Carrera Chevelle that I am turning into a Shotgun/Harry style Saturday night stock car using the hobby world SCX stock car chassis for that one. (I bought 12 of them off of ebay last year for 8 bucks a car, love to use them to build with).

Finally, also just won a resin firebird body with interior and a 68 Camaro body by SCX. Haven't decided how I am going to build those yet.
