Picked up this car for our SLC class.


I was up in Wisconsin dropping my daughter off at college. I had some time to kill and there was a train hobby shop, so I figured I would still check it out because a hobby shop is still a hobby shop. Not only did the shop have a huge selection of trains and I was pleasantly surprised to see his selection of Scaley and Carrera slot cars plus some older SCX cars including the Fiat Abarth I picked up.
He even had some Monogram 1/32 snap kits, the Ford Hot Rod, Camaro and Cobra, sorry, no GTOs or 55's.





I picked up the Renault8 SLC for Fred, plus it was on sale.


Glad you can still find hobby shops like this as you travel around.

Nice scouting out in Wisconsin, it's great to find a fully stocked hobby store when you're just doin' a casual "fly by", as you said.
Man, there's just not enough bread available to feed this model/slot car thing!
