Well, we have been running these fun little cars a lot lately and some how the outside half of the rear wheel flew off the car and landed in the ABYSS part of the track. Never to be found. I measured the tiny little rim, which is 12.3mm x 7mm. Must be the only production car with such small wheels. Is there any replacements? I wouldn't mind changing the whole drive train to aluminum rims if needed. Any suggestions without chopping up the wheel wells? :banana-dance:

I am not sure if they are the same, but on my Revell Cortina, I used SCX 1/43 scale wheels and tires as replacements

That's the way to go. I used Carrera 1/43 wheels on 5 minis so far. Invariably, they get the job done quick and easy. I just wish there was more variation to them. Scaley Mini Minilites well well, too. If you use PGT, you can stretch a tire that isn't quite the right fit and get a very effective tire. They just don't tear. Sand them flat, and finish off with #2000 wet sandpaper for a perfect finish.

You may also try Ranch Design, he was making small aluminum wheels.

Front rims from the Slot It Ferrari 312s look to be small enough and they come with spiffy inserts.

Check with Mike at Cloverleaf. I know CBD makes 12x7s And Quicks Slicks makes tires.

CB Design doesn't make a 12 series wheel.



Smallest they have is 14's.

Unless they have released a new wheel. But searching Cloverleaf and SCC, there is no 12 in CB Design.

You scared me :) I thought we had a new wheel. I might need a CB Design one for my mouse now, because I think I wore it out searching that fast :)
