Any chance you guys are going to add a Turner livery to your BMW lineup?

Top caliber team just down the road from me here in New England..

I know this car would be cool to add but... can I ever say what we might or are going to do a year ahead? I'm sorry i'm not able to do that.
I do appreciate you feeling strongly about Carrera enough to ask and I follow the Tudor series/WEC and i agree it would be great to see this deco.

Ok so now that we are on the BMW subject. 1/24 just got or will be getting their 1st BMW be it an M1. Its nice for a starter but seeing as Carrera is making a lot of different Bmw's in 1/32 could that translate into 1/24 cars? :pray:

I don't see that happening.

I have to chime in here. I kid Dave a lot, but this time I'm serious. We have had factory reps of one sort or another on here for a long time, and Dave has been two of them, for SCX and now for Carrera. No one ever came close to Dave's performance at his job. Ask him anything, you'll get a straight answer- Make a suggestion, he will tell you whether its even possible, and the likelihood that it could happen, or he'll tell you he doesn't know or he'll go find the answer- no crawfishing or being evasive. Get mad at him (pretty hard to do), and he'll give as good as he gets, which is very respectable to my way of thinking, and it shows respect to the guy he's scrapping with, too. You're good people, Dave, don't ever shave.

He's a great guy working for a great company. All of us budget racers would be up the proverbial creek without the proverbial paddle if it weren't for Carrera. IMHO

yes I do but I'm not the one that makes the decisions about what to make in 1/24 and what not to. I personally don't agree with some of the 1/24 decisions. If it were up to me there would be a steady diet of 'murican cars in 1/24... Mustangs, Cobras, Cobra Daytona Coupe, vintage stock cars. But 1/24 is a small market here.. not in Germany which is where the BMW will sell nicely i'm told.
The DTMs were available to us to bring in they weren't originally intended for this market at all and I helped to bring them here so they were at least available. Folks here have embraced DTMs and that's cool and means a bit of extra business for us and some cool cars for the guys that want them so everyone is a winner with that.
I just don't see the need for a BMW M1 in 1/32 personally. It would not be a choice that I would personally ever suggest because MY personal priority is SOLELY to provide the car suggestions to the people that manage the product lines that are specifically for OUR market, not the world market as such. I have a limited number of new molds that I'm able to get for our market... so my suggestions have to be very carefully considered.
Sales of other BMW M1s have been TEPID at best! I know people that distribute every brand and i have a general idea of what sells here and what does not. Trust me when I tell you that a BMW M1 is a car that is FAR down on my list of suggestions.

If the rules allow tell Mr Turner to run swan neck rear aero stays on that wing. Should pick up a few extra % in aero efficiency.
