I tried this with brass but shoulders won't let me yet. So I orders some HRS 2 chassis and some of Dave's great RMS bodies. I went to my local hobby shop today to but the right CB Design stock car wheel 15X11and NSR 21X12 tires. Please forgive me for what I am adout to do to this fine challenger.

Thanks Shotgun. After a couple false starts I got that racing urge back. After some time with the dermal I have the challenger at this point.

Those are not the rims that will be on the car. I will be starting this one also.

Now thats some nice looking stuff. Like the fact that the Chassis can be made other than brass.
it leaves options for those of us with a brass challenge.
Kudos to, you and great to see the building back in the house.

That is a great looking build, cantstop. With that chassis/motor combo that thing should go like a rocket!

So I returned to the slot races on Saturday night. Felt good to be back, a bit rusty but will get the grove back. But back to the build, this car will run in the "run what you brung" class. I think the stance is right.

Collage is really cutting into my build time  but I found some. TDid some grinding on the body and filled the rear panel. Had to get some primer on her so went with brown this time.

Now to get the brass out for the side bars and front number. Making progress on Chevelle also.

So I got a little time with the challenger tonite. I was able to get the side bars installed on it. I tried to keep them as close to scale as I could.

Also was able to get most the grinding done on the Chevelle.

Updates from Johnny 5 Speed Shop. So I was able to get some time with the cars today. The Chevelle got the body mounted and sprayed with primer. This car is going to look really bad%#$ when it's done. Although I think it looks that way now. :music-rockout:
