Posted: Tue Oct 20, 2015 7:35 amRight now, it is slower. I think part of the reason is the extra weight, another part may be the motor as I borrowed one from an older car. I intend to get a new Piranha 21.5k motor with my next online parts order. It drives smoothly enough but it lacks acceleration and top end. As soon as I get a fresh motor to install I will post the results.

Posted: Tue Oct 20, 2015 7:54 amBob, I did the moving the motor back a little to change pinion gears.Did the new chassis interfere with the interior? I like that setup better than moving the motor. But moving the motor only cost me some time. Waiting to hear how it runs with a new motor.
