Can someone compare the #16 and #26 Carrera Bel Air? I can't find a reasonable Race II, I'm thinking of a repaint. Is there much, if any, difference in the bodies?
Thanks,

I found a '57 Chevy Bel Air on ebay. After a mega fight I got the car. Ebay payment by PayPal is a b$%%^.

I hope you didn't pay more than $32 as that's what it costs at LEB hobbies.

That's a bummer to hear Frank, I've used paypal for years and not a problem ever. YMMV
Hopefully The Bel air makes it all better. I just picked up the yellow 16 from a forum member on another forum.
Hoping it's a great running as they look!

Sorry Harry. The '57 Bel Air I wanted was the #26 from 2011.
Leb only shows the #16.
I now have the #57, #26, #16, Custom and sedan (red).
Thanks for all the info Guys.
I'm taking them to a race this weekend. The little darlings will only be able to look, no touchy.
Anyone in the Mayo, MD area stop by for Breakfast with Santa at OLPH Church.
Bring what you got. This is a crash and burn. I recommend Artin as the kids are hard into the corner. The yellow lane always takes out the entire field on the first turn.
