I have a Lancia Delta integrale #112005. The motor is going. It will run and once it stops it will not restart without a shove.
I can't find a replacement motor. This car is four wheel drive.

Autoart makes 4WD motors.

Take it out and try flushing it out. Dunk it in some alcohol while running at low volts, about 4 or 5. Let it flush for about 5 minutes, see if that helps.

Dunk it first, then run it under the alcohol. If its running when you dunk it, there's a chance of fire.

Well, now I hear that somebody set up a sparky drag motor and dangled it over isopropyl and dunked it, trying to get it to burn. It didn't. I don't know what to tell you, but this guy is one who has as much experience in slot car stuff as I do, and if he couldn't get it to burn, it doesn't burn!

FIRE !!! :scared-eek: :scared-eek: :scared-eek:
If poo happens, I'm standing under it.
I'll wait until the motor is submerged.
Thanks for the help. :text-thankyouyellow:

When you have to "push start" a 3 pole motor, one of the windings is open. You can solder the winding to repair it. I have repaired many motors in this manner.

Guess what?
I figured out the problem.
The guy who I purchased the car from used Goop to secure the motor to the chassis. He put a little Goop on one of the brushes.
After I removed the excess Goop the motor ran without fault.
The brush can now seat.
Thanks for all the help.
