What a wild week. Glad to see Friday come around.
Tonight we have our grandkids for a night on the town and then hopefully some slot car fun.
SATURDAY! Locoracer Tom coming by for a day of slot car shenanigans :) Anyone in the area are free to give me a shout and stop on by :)
Projects. Ever notice you finish one project and 3 or 4 more begin? It happens here a lot. Have some NASCAR and other models coming in for some slot car conversions.
There are some of our fellow slotters going through some tough times. We cannot do much from here except provide a welcome distraction. We wish all the best to all of you and if we can do anything to help, you can be sure we will.
Have a great weekend all of you. Look for some "Semi-Live Coverage" from The Skunkworks this weekend :)

Was hoping to "clean up" the dungeon a bit Saturday, but looks like I'm getting called in to work.
Sucks, but I'll like it when I see next week's check :D
Gives me more money to spend at SCC... ;) (just don't tell the wife :o )

Ah yes one more sleep and then the 2.4 at the Ring goes on Saturday at 11am.
6 drivers competing with their SI grp C cars running a total of 2.4 hrs across 3 lanes in 4 various light conditions, including total darkness. This will be my 4th time on this one always a blast.
Means a night away from home and group meals and a lot of fun.
Only once a year so nice to be able to make it.
Bob

Working on filling up our 5th dumpster, sorting through stuff that we thought we "had to keep". Just got done going through all of our "spare" keys and threw away about 25 that don't go to anything anymore (including 3 vehicles that are long gone). Road trip next week for the holiday and work this weekend.

I always seem to be a day late on the TGIF thing, but I'm still above the dirt so not all bad. Harry I know what you mean about projects. I have 4 cars that I started working a long tome ago, but never finished because of things coming up. Hopefully I get one done soon. Just need to find the extra cash to get the parts. Maybe I could get a part time job as a greeter at Wal-Mart.

Well the first snow of the year started out our day.

But Locoracer Tom made it anyway :)

We got right to it by test running his Mopar for the Showdown.

Meanwhile, the grandkids are helping "Papaw" design the new track. Just a few more sections and done.

Also finally snagged one of these. Thanks BRS for the quick shipping so we had it in time for the weekend. This is a great looking car.
Fun times, snow or no snow :)
Hope all of you are having a fun time as well.
