I've gotten flooded with questions after showing this picture:

Here's the bottom line: I do plan on releasing these soon. I hope after the Thanksgiving Holiday. I have a bunch of things going on at the moment so I cannot guarantee this estimate, but I'll try.
I plan on releasing a full pit crew too:

The "parts" include cones, a jack, hand truck, barrel, PA speakers, torch tanks and hose, two toolboxes (1 open/1 closed) and a gerry can.
Prices and such will be forthcoming when I'm ready. I will be selling these as bare resin.

Dang, David. You make me feel old. What a lot of work! And they look really good, too. You are going to get a lot of attention from "Down Under". The guys in Australia and New Zealand really do work hard on their scenery, and the pits and camera folks are the hardest ones to model, I'm told.
How hard are those figures to get out of the mold, anyway?

I see they're wearing proper SCCA "whites", although I did flag an event at Loudon once wearing a black t shirt with a skull on it... and I was at the black flag station. I was real popular by the end of the day.
Nice selection. There are a lot of figures available in other scales, 1/32 not so much.

I would like to try my hand at painting some of those figures.I can picture in my mind how to give the pit crews a soiled race weary appearance.Basically the same way as weathering white winter camouflage uniforms.

Awesome news!!! Looking forward to when you release them.
Hmm, I'm wondering did I buy your 'retired' (ebay) figures making way for these new beauties? :)

Do you have the "shadetree" versions of the mechanic done yet? The ones with baling wire and duct tape? Those are the ones I need for The Skunkworks.

You guys are all too funny!
Harry - I don't but those are still in progress. I've been struggling to show "Joe" missing some teeth.
Dave - great job on the paint and I'm glad you were happy with them!
Z - nope, same pit set, I was testing the waters on selling painted ones. Probably won't do many more if any due to the time it takes.
More to come as I have time.

Count me in also. I've been looking for the camera crews for a long time.

Good to know Dreinecke. FYI gang, they are great looking figures in person. He's not a bad fig painter either.
