Well another week in the books. Been busy this week and not much time for my projects. But this weekend I should get the time to finish at least one.
IF I don't mess up the paint. Which given my history is unlikely :)
Lot of folks busy this time of year with last minute projects/ideas. Not to mention many of you travel. Hope you all get some time this weekend to have some hobby fun.

Projects - Yeah, got a few going on. Mostly fooling around with a couple sprint cars to run on my little oval.
Got some parts coming from my SCC friends, so hopefully I can get another street stocker going next week.
Got some guys coming over tomorrow night, so looking forward to some fun there.
Sunday looks like a start of another wood track for one of the guys.
Yep, busy weekend ahead... :auto-checkeredflag:

This will be my last weekend at the "part time" job. Hoping to get a response on both the tractors I have on Craigslist. We've found a house in NC and hired a moving company (ouch! ). The home track starts going in boxes tomorrow evening. Things are moving pretty quick now!

After I put up the Christmas tree I'm going to work on a dirt late model I've started.
I shortened up an extreme offset 1:24 brass chassis & left the Super16D in it to see if I
can tame it........so far so good.
It was supposed to be a Henry-J modified, but I think I'll need the extra weight of the
full size body to keep it on the track..............

After spending the last month engrossed in the GVSCC Targa Proxy, i realized there are proxies upcoming that I need to finish cars for. I am at the installing interiors and driver stage on most of them, and have already done most of the testing and tuning, but it will be good to get them finished and ready to be mailed right after the holiday rush is done.

It is Saturday morning here in NZ. I have had a short term contract since early October for a full time position. The job consumes my time and my energy. Sadly slotting matters have had to be pushed to the back. The contract ends on Dec 17th so I will have to have some serious workshop time to unwind and clear my backlog of jobs and refresh my mind.....wont I darling?

I need to get back on my race track cleanup. I still need to dust off the table, and wipe down the track rails. After that, I need to cleanup and lube my cars. I've got 3 brand spanking new cars still in their little plastic garages, that need some serious track time. One is the new Carrera C7R!!!

It's been raining and the windy here in NW California. I have heard reports of up to 14 ft swells at the beach locally but haven't been there to see for myself. I've been indoors playing with a little Scaley digital oval I set up using spare track pieces. I'm only using one LH out to in and one LH in to out for lane changing to satisfy the KISS principal for this track. These curved LC'c limit me to a R2 back and forth which is a bit monotonous. To add a little more spice, I ordered up some R4 curves from Chicagoland Hobbies that I hope to make a tri oval with a broader curve in the tri section. I hope they come in today. If not, it'll probably tomorrow.

Well I have done Christmas lights Friday night.
Christmas tree and deco Saturday incase the kiddies come by.
Sunday my Daughters Birthday.
And hoping to find some time for Christmas shopping.
It would be so easy if they were all into, slot cars.
Have a good weekend all.
