Hi all
Recently I have picked up two of the Scaley Legends, the classic F-1 cars . And I am looking to take Mr Reinecke advise and install a calmer motor. The 14 k Sl1 motors from MT racing. Trouble is I can not find them online, they are either out of stock, are not carried at all. Anybody know where I can purchase these?
I have tried all the dealers with links on HRW, and some that are not.....
Thanks
john

John -
I don't see any M/T-1's available anywhere either.
You may want to check out alternate offerings from companies like:
MRRC Motor 333 Basic 13,000rpm (
http://www.mrrc.com/car-components/moto ... -13000/12v )
BWA BWMS050 - 14,500rpm (

Happy hunting!

Go to M/T resins. Just google it. Then the second website down. It's says those motors are in stock.

Slot Car Corner sells the M/T-1 motors as well.

Slot Car Corner Canada has them listed in stock. Don't let the $11 price scare you off. Our dollar is in the toilet right now, so a USD equals $1.37 CAD, and an $11 item is $8 USD.

You don't have an adjustable power supply? Plus that spares you from the jigsaw puzzle that some of the Scaleys turn out to be. Not that I don't enjoy a brain-teaser every now and then.

If that is the case - it is definitely "spendy" to order direct - but again, that isn't the only source for that motor either... :)
Happy hunting!

Why would anybody want to make a car slower by changing motors' Just turn down the Volts. Indybob

Because not all times does this work the best. Sometimes reducing volts effects the braking and acceleration too much to make the model react the way you expect.
And not all enthusiasts have the ability to adjust volts.
Just a personal taste matter.
